Hide Secret Data in Images & PDFs
Perform client-side LSB steganography with optional AES-256-GCM encryption and SHA-256 integrity verification. Your files and messages never leave your browser.
1. Encoder (Embed Message)
Hide a secret message inside a PNG image or PDF container.
2. Decoder (Extract Message)
Extract and decrypt hidden payloads from PNG images or PDF files.
Security Specifications & Technical FAQ

| Encoding Scheme | RGB 1-bit LSB (Least Significant Bit) Sequential Replacement |
| Cipher Strategy | AES-256-GCM (Authenticated Encryption with Associated Data) |

| Integrity Verification | SHA-256 Payload Hash Matching (32-byte Digest) |
Why use PNG or PDF formats?
LSB steganography requires 100% loss-free pixel data storage. Lossy formats like JPEG recalculate RGB pixel values using DCT compression, destroying subtle steganographic modifications. PNG is completely lossless, and PDF retains the exact image matrix without introducing compression artifacts when rendered at native resolution.
Is my data sent to any cloud server?
No. All pixel modifications, encryption key derivations, hashing, and PDF renders take place entirely within your local browser runtime via JavaScript and WebAssembly.
